About Our Work

Preparation

One of the most important work area's of decorating, is the preparation.
This area consists of stripping existing wallpapers, and paints, to preparing and making good ceilings, walls, and joinery, before hanging paper, or painting.
The quality of the finished work depends on the right form of preparation.

Wallpaper stripping can be carried out by wetting, or by using either a domestic or commercial steamer.

Filling, using a quality, recognised filling compound to create a sound surface prior to hanging paper, or painting.

Hanging Lining Paper

Lining paper comes in different grades, depending on the surface to be covered.
Once the paper has been applied , the joints are filled and fine sanded.
Wall corners, ceiling to wall, and skirting to wall joints are then filled with a flexible filler, to provide a good surface finish, ready for painting, or hanging a patterned paper.
